4. Data Processors — Who Has Access to Your Data
REvelio uses the following third-party service providers to deliver the Platform. Each processes your data only as directed by REvelio and under data processing agreements:
- Supabase — database, authentication, and file storage infrastructure
- Vercel — application hosting and deployment
- Anthropic PBC — AI language model powering REvelio's document intelligence, AI assistant, and client portal chat features via the Claude API. When REvelio processes real estate transaction data on behalf of a licensed agent subscriber (acting as a service provider under CCPA), Anthropic acts as a sub-processor to REvelio in that chain. Agent subscribers' clients' transaction-related personal data — including names, property addresses, contract content, and portal communications — may be processed by Anthropic solely for the purpose of delivering AI-powered platform features. Anthropic is contractually prohibited from using this data to train AI models, from selling or sharing it, and from retaining API interaction logs beyond 7 days.
- Stripe — subscription billing and payment processing
- Trestle / CoreLogic — MLS data feed and property listing integration
- Resend — transactional email delivery
We do not sell your personal information. We do not share your personal information with third parties for advertising or marketing purposes.
5. Client Data You Process Through REvelio
When you upload client documents, provision client portals, or enter client data into REvelio, you are acting as the data controller for your clients' personal information. REvelio processes that data as your service provider under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA).
As a REvelio agent-subscriber, you are responsible for:
- Ensuring you have the right to share your clients' personal information with REvelio
- Providing your clients with appropriate privacy disclosures about REvelio's role as a service provider
- Responding to your clients' privacy rights requests related to data in your transactions
REvelio will support you in responding to consumer data rights requests that relate to data processed on your behalf. Contact privacy@revelioprocess.com for assistance.
6. Data Security
REvelio implements industry-standard security measures to protect your data, including:
- Encryption in transit (TLS) and at rest
- Row-Level Security (RLS) policies enforced at the database layer
- Access controls that limit data visibility to authorized account holders only
- HMAC-SHA256 webhook signature verification
- Regular security review of infrastructure and access controls
No security system is impenetrable. In the event of a data breach affecting your personal information, REvelio will notify you as required by applicable law.
7. Data Retention
We retain your account data for as long as your subscription is active. Following account cancellation:
- Account data is retained for 90 days to allow for reactivation
- Transaction records are retained for 5 years following account cancellation. This exceeds the 3-year statutory minimum under California Business and Professions Code § 10148 and is designed to support agents in meeting professional best-practice standards for record retention.
- Uploaded documents are deleted within 90 days of account closure unless you request earlier deletion. Agents who need uploaded documents for their own DRE record-keeping compliance should export them before cancelling their subscription.
- AI interaction history — including portal chat logs and AI assistant conversations — is retained for 12 months following account closure. Communications generated through REvelio's AI features that relate to real estate transactions may constitute transaction records under California Business and Professions Code § 10148 and should be exported and retained by the agent's broker for the applicable period before account cancellation.
REvelio Process Incorporated is a technology service provider and is not a licensed real estate broker. REvelio has no independent obligation under California Business and Professions Code § 10148. The record-keeping obligation under California law runs to the licensed broker with whom the agent is affiliated. Agents are solely responsible for ensuring their own compliance with applicable DRE record-keeping requirements, including exporting necessary records from REvelio prior to account cancellation.
8. California Privacy Rights (CCPA / CPRA)
As a California resident, you have the following rights under the CCPA/CPRA:
- Right to Know — the categories and specific pieces of personal information we collect about you
- Right to Delete — request deletion of your personal information, subject to legal retention requirements
- Right to Correct — request correction of inaccurate personal information
- Right to Opt Out — we do not sell or share your personal information, so this right does not apply
- Right to Non-Discrimination — we will not discriminate against you for exercising your privacy rights
To exercise any of these rights, contact us at: info@revelioprocess.com
9. SMS Communications
If you provide your mobile phone number, REvelio may send transactional SMS messages including account alerts, deadline notifications, and platform updates. Reply STOP to any message to opt out. Message and data rates may apply.
